What is a Ragdoll ?

Ragdoll Cats truly deserve their name. The name refers to the Ragdoll's tendency to relax all their muscles and go limp in one’s arms like a babydoll. Ragdoll cats are friendly, sweet, loving, docile, gentle and serene.

Ragdoll cats are people oriented cats. Ragdolls want to take part in everything that happens in their owners house. They will follow you around the house like a puppy dog.

Ragdoll cats are usually not very talkative and they have a quiet voice, yet they have a large vocabulary. Often Ragdoll Kitten owners tell how their cats have many different voices. Ragdoll cats are generally not destructive at home because they are calm and usually prefer the floor-level to climbing. One new owner of our Ragdoll kittens described Ragdolls as being just like a dog..except it doesn't wag it's tail.
